Major Australian and New Zealand wind turbine owner joins O2O WIND International

Deion Campbell General Manager at Trustpower/NewCo explains their decision as follows

Trustpower has established many networks with other wind asset owners, with a hope to share knowledge and performance improvement opportunities, but these have often not been broadly supported.  The O2O wind platform provided a well-supported and secure opportunity to network with a variety of owners with representation from various levels in the member organisations.  Trustpower believes that this type of collaboration will help with industry to be innovative, remain competitive and address issues in a timely manner and we look forward to joining the discussions

With Deion Campbell and his team on-board at O2O WIND we are now 32 energy companies from 17 countries on four continents who collaborate at O2O WIND. The wind turbine owners at O2O WIND own among themselves closer to 18 % of all the wind turbines in the world. Six of the top ten biggest wind energy producers in the World are members at O2O WIND.

Please note that we write Trustpower/NewCo as NewCo has just been founded as an external company to take over and develop Trustpower’s portfolio of renewable assets.
