Our O&M Strategy

Adriano Tutello, Investment Manager in Renewable Energy Infrastructure at Mirova, describes their O&M strategy for their wind assets as follows:

"Mirova is mission-driven investor committed to the energy transition. 

We intervene in all stages of wind farms’ life cycle, as to complete the development, build and operate the assets.  In order to do this, in addition to our internal expertise, we rely on our partners’ know-how to operate the assets.

We seek to optimize the assets we invest in by selecting the best maintenance contracts. We are looking for full scope contract with (energetic) contractual availability. We favour short contracts (5y) or long contracts with an option to exit in order to take advantage of a tender to reduce costs. We ask the main players to participate in this tender OEM and oOEM such as DWT."
