The responsible person for Aspiravi's involvement with O2O WIND is Hans Verbeke, operations engineer.
Aspiravi was founded in 2002. The Aspiravi group has grown in the last 15 years to one of the most important players in renewable energy in Belgium, with a total production capacity of over 650 MW.
Aspiravi is involved in the operation of 227 wind turbines (in Belgium on/offshore and in Curaçao), two hydropower plants, three biogas engines and a biomass power plant (based on non-recyclable waste wood).
Aspiravi's ambition for joining O2O
Hans Verbeke: "Our intention on the O2O wind forum is to share our knowledge with and gain knowledge from other operators. How other operators experience the performance of their turbines, common errors, how they are handled by the service provider. Discuss how service providers (OEM or independent) handle the installation of third party equipment on a turbine. In this way we are hoping to strengthen our company and help to make the wind energy a more mature business."
