This user group was created and inspired by the great interest we had on our webinar/survey on this topic (please find summary here). Our ambition with gathering professionals, specialized in Gearbox, Drivetrain, and Oil to share data, experiences, and insights on Gearbox, Drivetrain, and Oil related issues - is to create a common higher level of best practice. 29 October 2019 - Gearbox, Drivetrain and Oil – Physical meeting in Copenhagen
A full day to go in-depth on Gearbox, Drivetrain and Oil issues in wind farm operations. Having Gearbox, Drivetrain and Oil issues under control could be the most rewarding step a wind turbine owner could take. The component that create the longest time of downtime is the gearbox. Then again the gearbox is very often the fuse that goes of and the root cause is often found outside the gearbox which makes it very natural to also include the drivetrain and oil in this user group.
