Together with 14 of our members, owning among themselves 457 Nordex 2.3-2.5 MW turbines, we have created something we call: Nordex 2.3-2.5 MW User Group.

The people we suggest would bring most value to your company by being active in this group are those who are closest to the machine:

1. Daily time: those who have a big share of their daily tasks/time being connected to this specific machine,
2. Competence: those who knows most about how to operate this machine and
3. Benefit: those who would benefit most of getting involved in specific discussions on this machine. 

Within the category: "being closest to the machine" we have identified four categories of people: 

• On site: The people who does daily maintenance on this specific machine: Technicians, Site Managers, Maintenance planners etc.
• Engineers: The engineers who are involved in solving long term issues for this specific machine.
• Asset managers: The people who internally within your company are representing the so called "owner perspective" and who are in contact with the OEM for this specific machine
• Fleet responsible: Some of the bigger owners have persons who are top responsible for all turbines of a certain brand. This person is then the central contact person for the OEM who has manufactured this specific machine.

Apart from our members we are currently in contact with several energy companies owning this specific machine. We first align the users and equip them with our collaboration tools and then suggest a date for our launch webinar.

A very good and obvious exercise to both get to know each other and to share experiences from start, would be for you and your team to present one of your Nordex 2.3-2.5 MW wind farms. 

Our experience is that if these presentations are held on a too general level they could become rather similar. To avoid this, please do a more detailed presentation of various events that you have experienced in this wind farm and also pick one of your Nordex 2.3-2.5 MW wind farms in which you have maybe had some extraordinary events.

Furthermore the market is always developing with new components and new suppliers.
